Gold price goes high recently

Gold prices rose on Monday, hitting an eight-month high on the back of the situation in Ukraine.

 

Gold prices on the New York Mercantile Exchange closed at $1,906.2 an ounce, up 0.34%. Silver was $23.97 an ounce, down 0.11%. Platinum was $1,078.5 an ounce, up 0.16%. Palladium traded at $2,388 an ounce, up 2.14%.

 

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) closed at $92.80 a barrel, up 2.52%. Brent crude settled at $97.36 a barrel, up 4.00%.

 

Uranium (U3O8) closed flat at $44.05/lb.

 

62% iron ore fines closed at $132.5/ton, down 2.57%. 58% iron ore fines closed at $117.1/ton, up 4.69%.

 

The spot price of copper on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed at $9,946 per ton, down 0.64%. Aluminum was $3324.75 per ton, up 0.78%. Lead was $2342.25/ton, down 0.79%. Zinc was $3,582 per ton, down 0.51%. Nickel was $24,871 per ton, up 1.06%. Tin was $44,369 per ton, up 0.12%.
